Birds see the reflection of the landscape in the glass of a window and are tricked to believe that they are traveling toward more of the same landscape they just passed though. One thing that can work to help them avoid the window is to tape a cut out of a small falcon on the window. It can be a simple silhouette (no bigger than 12 inches across) for them to believe there is a predator ahead of them. They then will avoid the area. If you can find a contractor with the ability, during new home construction they can install the window at a very slight angle which creates the reflection of the ground in the glass instead of reflecting the landscape beyond the window. You would want to find a contractor with experience in this type of window installation.
Easiest way is to put up a screen for your window. That way you still get fresh air, yet prevents pest from getting in. Hope that helps.

Do you mean a Wild Bird is some where in your house? What I suggest is to call Animal Services, (which is usually state and county runi) in your area and they may come to the house and try to rescue the bird. If they can't help you, ask them who you should call and make sure you get a number from them. More then likely they'll give you a number for the wild life protection agency in your area.
