Yes and no. They do not age, which means that their organs do not age, nor do they stop mating or laying eggs, no matter how old they become. However they can still die of disease, predators, and particularly from humans. Most turtles are currently either endangered or extinct.
=== === There is only one known animal that is capable of living forever, a jellyfish known as the Turritopsis nutricula.
The Turritopsis nutricula has developed the ability to return to a polyp state. This is done through a cell change in the external screen (exumbrella). The ability to reverse the life cycle is probably unique in the animal kingdom, and allows the jellyfish to bypass death, rendering the Turritopsis nutriculabiologically immortal. Beyond this species however, there is no known animal which can biologically live forever, even this unique jellyfish is capable of dieing by unnatural means as with all known animals.

I so wish it were possible to keep my dog with me forever, but unfortunately it's not.
The best you can do to keep them around as long as possible is:
Regular Vet visits
All shots and vaccinations
High quality, regular diet
Exercise very day, a nice long walk is great
Lots of love and attention
Their nutrition is probably the most important. Feed a good dog food. Science Diet, Iams, Nutro - one of those brands will be best. I feed my dogs "Nutro Lamb meal and Rice". They are both Labs and both very old for Labs, but people think they are puppies because of their health, looks and energy. The next is exercise. Make sure they get plenty of exercise. And third - regular visits to the vet. The food is slightly more expensive but worth it. The trips to the vet will cost you some money, but it depends on how much you love your dog and how long you want to keep them around.
