Fish don't "have babies" in the sense that mammals do.
The eggs are fertilized externally and the young develop on their own.
In an aquarium, the first you'll know about it is a bunch of tiny fish swimming around.
Fish deposit eggs. ________________________________________________________________________ Not all fish do. Fish like Gold Fish lay eggs, but live beaers like mollies give live birth. Some of the earlyiest possibles signs are: Chasing the other fish Hiding behind filter/aquarium plants when you walk by the aquarium Getting an inlarged abdomin Signs for when your fish is about to give birth: There breathing hard Seem to be *pushing* (You can see what I mean by pushing if you tyoe in fish giving birth on YouTube)
to know if there breeding they normally stay in the corner of your tank or chased by the males
They become noticeably plump a few days or so before giving birth.
if they start getting bigger and they is a black spot on the vent.
They might rub their belly on the rocks/sand on the bottom also their hole is more visable.
Vincents future is having babies with a llama
Normally when you see that they are on the verge of having babies you would put them in a separate tank and then take the mum out as soon as she has the babies.
Shellfish are not fish. they are crustaceans.shellfish is the fish which is inside the shell . But fish is free
Fish don't even have babies. Fish lay eggs, so no.

Koi are egg layers/scatterers of adhesive eggs so they don't actually 'have babies'.

They sure are! I have a couple and they keep having babies!!
Vincents future is having babies with a llama
Never
yes it does, if she is hiding under plants and logs then she is nesting, swordtails have their babies live so this will allow the babies to hide and be protected in this area. the only other reason is that she is being bullied and that she is not feeling well. Or another reason could be that the fish is exposed to to much light, if not then yes, she is having babies...
Goldfish are egg laying fish, and unless there is a male in the tank to chase the female and convince her to release eggs, you may not know that she is either female, or even has eggs to release.
It's at the bottom of the tank, not floating, and I'm pretty sure it's breathing. It's sort of buried in the gravel, and I can't tell if she's having babies or the other fish had a memorial service and then buried her lol!
maybe its not pregnant!!!! k More information needed. What kind of fish is it? What are the parameters of the water and container the fish is in? What makes you think it is expecting babies?
none that i know of no fish feed their young milk
