It is a good idea when getting any pet that you are not familiar with to get books out from the library. There is a lot of good information that you can find. The only other advice that I have is if you are looking for a pet to have fun with don't get a dwarf hamster even though they are soooo cute. I got one and they are not nearly as much fun to play with and hold as a bigger hamster. If you have the money Black hamsters are specially breed to be friendly and social. Plus my friend had one and it is 3 years old and just starting to fade (if that is the right word choice). Otherwise you could just go to the pet store and ask to hold some different kinds. But again I strongly incourage you to find out as much as you can and buy the proper supplies before buying your hamster. This will insure that you both have the best time possible together and your hamster lives a long and healthy life.
Your local pet store should have a selection. I would not recommend buying one online as it is hard on the hamster. My hamster practically chewed though the box on the short car ride home so I would consider that as well.
if you mean your hamster got loose all you have to do is put some seeds in a bowl. Place the bowl in the center of a room.(most likely where the cage is or in the middle of your house) And just keep an eye out and your hamster should come to the bowl.
you get a male and a female
I have a hamster with red eyes as well I have not seen your hamster and i don't know how it reacts but it if it reacts as if it were blind then it may be.
None...
i don't know if i get your question but i think that is urine.
anything but salami i mean it too! your hamster will die!
If you are a hamster, then in all likely-hood, your mother is a hamster too. If you are a human, like most of the people who get on this website, then, chances are, your mother is not a hamster. If you do not believe me, go get a DNA test for both of you, then find a good mental hospital.
It sounds great, but if you want to train your hamster to know his/her name, try a shorter name, like Cass.
It is good for your hamster's health keeping it healthy and happy
Yeah.... that would be good! But you know what would be better? Kyle Mr.Cotton Izzy Steve
It depends on the hamster, so i dont know.
you should probably only sell them to people you know. don't just sell the hamster to the first guy on the street who asks. make sure you know why they want the hamster. ask what kind of pets they have. if they seem responsible for the hamster, sell the hamster for whatever price her mother was or whatever. MIDNIGHT AND OREO ROCK!!!
yes it is a good idea to buy a hamster with a cat
Fido i think is a good name for a active hamster
What is a hamster that has no legs called? A furball.
Yes, you can. This is a good way to get to know each other.

Ask yourself one key question: "Do I want a hamster?" If the answer is yes, then any hamster will do.
