use a fenced in backyard and a dog house....if you are unwilling to let your dog live outside, try those mats you can buy at the pet store... ** This training takes patience. You need to take the puppy out various times a day to go potty. Always take it to the same spot. Limit the amount of water at night to curb nightime accidents.Every time you take the pup out to go you use a key word like `out` or whatever word you choose. You must take the pup out after EVERY time it eats or drinks.Stay with it and soon it will get the idea. You may have accidents but do not punish the pup unless you actually catch the pup in the act. A firm `NO` will be punishment enough, then take the pup out to its spot. Even if it does not have to go anymore it will soon learn that this is what is expected. This training may take a week or two before the pup really gets it and will not have any (hopefully) accidents.Dont give up it is worth it. For more expert help on training a pup , go to link below.
Make sure he/she has frequent enough opportunities to potty in the appropriate place. A puppy should not be expected to wait more than one hour for each month of age. So, if a puppy's only 2 months old, he/she should be given the opportunity (and encouragement and praise) to go EVERY 2 hours.
Unless you want to install a dog-door or teach him how to use a litterbox, you should just get up and let him out.
Obtain a cage with your new puppy the cage will help make the puppy feel secure, will make a home there and will therefore not spoil. Feed puppy and then put back in cage after 30 mins take puppy out to back garden where it may spoil as it spoils say the words 'busy busy' return puppy to cage with treat. repeat this every day (puppy can obviously come out of cage at other times but be careful not to overtire) The puppy will adopt the habit that every time you take it to the garden and say 'busy busy' it will spoil and therefore never be undisciplined enough to spoil in the house or where it shouldn't. Useful if taking dog on a train, bus etc as you can be confident it won't want to go if you have already 'walked' it in the garden.
You should stop feeding your dog puppy food when it reaches about 1 year. A typical puppy will reach adult size when its about 8-12 months.
lock them in a cage
The easiest way to stop your puppy from tipping his water bowl would be to purchase a weighted water bowl. There are also stands that the bowls sit in and are harder to tip.
What you need to do is get an empty spray bottle and fill it with water. When the puppy or dog bites you, you spray it. it should stop bitting you.Whenever the dog bites you spray it as said
they shouldn't be in cages buy him/her a bed. it isn't safe for a dog/puppy to be sleeping in a cage the paws can get ruined or if it stays in there long enough when it gets older it can attack you it happened to me

In most cases yes, nothing wants to be stuck in a cage. That's the only way it knows to get out.

First consider what is right for your puppy. Make sure the cage is the right size and introduce the puppy to the cage for short periods of time. Generally, it is not good to leave an animal in the cage more than six to eight hours at a time on a regular basis. Puppies have small bladders and should not be left alone in a cage for more than 2 hours at a time. Get a good friend or neighbor to come over and let your puppy out. Be sure the cage is a larger one so that the pup can sleep on a blanket at one end with a dish of water and at the other end some paper to piddle or go poo on. Dogs do not like to go potty near their food or sleeping quarters. Get someone to come in and let your pup go potty and have some exercise.
