First of all, it would be helpful to take it to a vet to make sure, they'd probably do some tests, but to test at home, you could try this. Say it's name clearly, when it is not facing you, and maybe shake its treats or food bowl, or open some canned food. If they turn around, or make a reaction, he is probably not deaf, but actually, its possible they just felt vibrations, and turned to face you. If you arent sure, or think that he might be deaf, take him to a vet.
Try ringing a bell. Most kittens will react to this. To be sure shake there food bag
by whistling-if they respond they can hear, if they dont come running then i would bet tht dog was deaf......ofcourse there is always a chance vets could tell....lol
Stick your finger up its butt and then smell it. If u still cant tell them you might have to lick the dog's butt.
If u call its name and like looks at you it eont be deaf. If your guinea pig doesnt seem to notice anything after a loud scream or anything loud its totally deaf
