These little animals are very boisterous, they will squeal just cause they are happy. You will be able to tell why your piggy squeals the longer you have it. It will learn your routine and let you know what it wants. ie food, water and even attention.
It means that they like you or comfortable around you alot or it means that they feel that they are in danger. But when i first got my guinea pig she would shake and squeal that's how i know she was scared or afraid.
I got my guinea pig yesterday and she seems very confident when i hold her her name is Roxy and most the time when she squeaks she is happy but sometimes in can mean they think there in danger and scared so be careful just incase! Emma Mackenzie XxX
Well, usually if a guinea pig is squeaking, it is either unhappy or hungry. If it goes Whee ouu WHEEE ouu WHEE, then it is probably hungry. If it purrs or vibrates when you pet them or hold them, it means they are happy and feel safe and ocmfortable. Any other squeaks and it is unhappy. also, if it has one long, highpitched squeak, then take it to the vet and tell them what happened, because the guinea pig is hurt. (sorry for the bad spellings of the sounds--you get what i mean)
One way to differentiate between a hamster and a guinea pig is by size. Guinea pigs are typically larger than hamsters. Additionally, guinea pigs have rounded bodies with shorter legs compared to the more slender bodies and longer legs of hamsters. Hamsters also have shorter ears and tails than guinea pigs.
Yes, a veterinarian can perform an ultrasound or X-ray to confirm if a female guinea pig is pregnant. It is not possible to accurately diagnose pregnancy in guinea pigs through physical examination alone.
Yes guinea pigs can have asthma and if you think that she/he has it then you should go to the vet right away and tell the vet that you thunk she has asthma and have them do stays. It might be costly though and if you can't afford it right now then you might want to research about it and what you need to do. Hope this helps
no guinea pigs are much bigger and only have very short tails and you keep them in big cages and hutches outside like rabbits but gerbils have long tails and are more like rats and mice and you keep them in small cages inside no, guinea pigs are bigger and gerbils have long tails Gerbils are a squirrel type animal that is found in America. They are also family of the South African field mouse.
You feel it
Every guinea pig has their own personality, it is impossible to tell which guinea pigs they'll get along with and not get along with.
Yes they will weep.
Play with them a lot and watch them
Guinea pigs can smell very well, they have good hearing and they feel things. They can see just about as good as we can

Baby guinea pigs will usually fit right into the palm of your hand, and have quite large feet; adult guinea pigs are easily the size of a football.
Boy guinea pigs don't have nipples.
9 to 10 weeks.
Unlike cats or dogs, guinea pigs cannot tell if you sick. There brains are so small all they know what to do is find food, run, and find a shelter. (other guinea pigs CAN do many other things- but in my opion, this is my anwser. )
You Can't Really Tell Unless You Take It To A Vet. :] -Hope I Helped
