Crocs normally stay underwater for only a couple of minutes, but if they feel threatened they could stay underwater for about half an hour. If they felt really threatend and went into hibernated state, they could stay under water for about two hours. They can do this because their lungs have adapted to be huge and that with one tiny exhale they sink to the bottom. To stay under for two hours they can slow their heartbeat and deflate their lungs.
