This question cannot be answered due to the fact that girls are very complex and intricate in their thoughts and feelings. In your lifetime you may have figured out one girl, but fact is every single girl is different. So you cannot know how a girl's mindswork.

All i can say is that they mind's work based off of their emotions and feelings.

Girls tend to pick one thing and stick to it for a while, which can lead to more obsession then boys. And despite the common belief, no, girls do not adore cute fluffy rabbits and unicorns and have a fascination with the colour pink. Girls can actually be quite blood thirsty, although they avoid fighting. They more tend to go with verbal abuse then physical attacks and tend to be better at spelling then boys, who are better at math.

Well, it depends on what you mean. The female mind works just like the male, but if you mean as in relationships, a girl likes compliments, but NEVER HOVER. Very, very bad! Also, if your close, then she would like gifts also. But if you hardly know eachother, don't go too fast because you would both eventually be in an awkward position. A girl sometimes also likes old fashioned letters or cute things like that. Chivalry is NOT DEAD! Remember that.
