I know that people trying to solve this answer are middle schoolers or high schoolers who are taking Health at ASK. I reallly dont want to help you because you should be using something that is accurate, but here, I have decided to give you the answer. Anways, I did the skeletal system in 7th grade and got a good grade (2010-2011) ok ok ok here! :)

Our body consists of 206 bones that need each need one another to work diligently. There are two types of parts to the skeleton:

• The axial skeleton forms the body's central alignment; its bones are primarily those of support and shelter.

• The appendicular skeleton "hangs from" the axial skeleton; its bones are primarily those of movement.

The axial has 80 bones, including the skull. The appendicular skeleton has 120 bones, including the clavicle. Bones provide the formation that gives the body resistance against gravitation and makes movement possible.
