It begins by turning on its back. In an instant it will twist its body a complete 180 degrees so that its entire underbelly is exposed. It does not stop there either. The snake then opens its mouth wide in a very unnatural manner, protrudes its tongue out its entire length and drapes it out to one side.

Even while being handled he will not break character. The snake will remain completely limp and will not move a muscle as long as he stays in his upside down position. If you flip the snake back right side up, he will flip instantly onto back again.
