Snakes protect their eggs by wrapping around them, forming a circle in which the eggs are in the middle. What predator would dare attempt to steal an egg within the strike range of a snake?
Some snakes actually give live birth (eww)
Some snakes will bury their eggs and leave them there in hopes they are going to hatch.
Some snakes lay on their eggs to protect them and get very aggressive if a predator comes too close.
It really depends on the type of snake you are asking about

First of all, all reptiles except for crocodiles, alligators and gharils dont look after there young yes they dont care for their children as hard as it sounds this is life for them. they never look after them I SAY NEVER, dont take nature emotionally you will always get hurt.
They do not. Some snake guard their eggs and will attack a predator that gets near them, but after hatching or, for some species, birth, young snakes mus fend for themselves.
Snake eggs are soft not hard.It is as soft as leather.
No snake will lay pink eggs all snakes will gave live birth or lay eggs that are white or a cream color and the eggs are soft shelled non like birds. I hope this was helpful :-)

There's no need to 'protect' them. Snakes wouldn't eat the turtle eggs anyway. The only species of egg-eating snake - eats small bird eggs - not reptile eggs.
When the female has laid her eggs - she will aggressively defend her brood from anyone or anything that gets too close.
Garter snake eggs are soft shelled.
