Toothpaste reduces the pain and swelling of a bee sting (because toothpaste is a base and the bee sting is acidic) Toothpaste doesn't help wasp stings because wasp stings and toothpaste are alkali. (However vinegar works well on wasp stings because vinegar is acidic)
Yep they do it stings a little but not like a bee or wasp.
A male bee is a drone, and it doesn't have a sting. All other bees are female, and they do have stings.
the wasp sting is full of venom which is alkaline
A wasp sting and a bee sting have different properties and therefore need different treatments to neutralize the sting.
Yes, a bee does die, where as a wasp doesn't.
if you put vinegar on wasp stings it will help because wasp stings have alkali in it and vinegar is a weak acid but bee stings are different they are acidic so if you put toothpaste on it it will help (try not to get bee stings mixed up with wasp stings because it will hurt even more if you put toothpaste on wasp stings or vinegar on bee stings)
Never heard of that. BUT for bees stings use bi carbonate of soda and for wasp stings use vinegar. Because bee stings are acid and the bicarbonate neutralizes it and wasp stings are alkaline so the acid neutralizes it.
to know how to cure bee and wasp stings and stuff
Formic acid.
The self-defensive sinking of a stinger, with the resulting death of the bee, not the wasp, into skin defines a bee or a wasp sting.
Bee stings and toothpaste
bee or wasp
No, a wasp doesn't die if it stings but a honey bee does.
No. Bee venom is acidic anyway, and wasp venom is chemically neutral, so in neither case will any form of acid help.
When you get stung by a wasp, when you get stung by a bee, when a stinging nettle stings you you can use dockleaves, toothpaste when your cleaning your teeth and i dont know about the 5th one!
alkili is the best
Vinegar helps against wasp stings because they are alkaline but would not help for a bee sting because it is acidic. Bicarbonate of soda helps counteract the acidity of a bee sting. Ultimately time is the main healer.
