They won't bite veryhard. They will only nibble on you. They shouldn't even bite at all unless you are really irritating them or have your fingers in their mouth!

Are hamsters better pets than rabbits?
It depends on which hamster you are planning to get. Usually the smaller hamsters are much more angry than the larger ones. I work at a vet clinic and we had one come in that was just a little devil!! They usually bite fingers and like to go to the bathroom all over your hands. Rabbits on the other hand are much more laid back, again depending on the breed you get. It also depends on how you raise them.
