Shorkie is a breed of dog so there are many places to find information on Shorkies. The local library is one source and there are many breeders of Shorkies that could also provide information about the breed. There should be a national association of Shorkie breeders and this would be another source of information.
It all depends on how consecutive you are about taking him/her out. If you set an egg timer for 10 minutes and take him/her out and stand there with them and watch when they go praise them and reward them with a small treat keep this up for a week or so they he/she should be asking to go out.
