are not 1 yet but I had another her name was coco
she lived to be about 6. but before she died we bought another
guinea pig ,willow and that seemed to make coco live longer.
from my experience from guinea pigs they live to 5-8 years.
they seem to need a friend and you make a different life span for them.

Guine pigs could eat grass though not weeds! ecpessaly when the weeds are sprayed with weed killer.
