If your long haired teddy bear hamster is not drinking water, it could be a sign of illness or stress. Monitor him closely for other symptoms such as lethargy, weight loss, or changes in behavior. Consider taking him to a veterinarian specializing in small animals for further evaluation.
Yes. One species of hamster does have a 'long' tail. The Chinese hamster (often mislabelled the Chinese Dwarf hamster) has a tail that measures roughly 1inch, although this doesn't seem that long, it is when compared to other hamster species. All other hamsters have short tails - the length depending on what species they are. (eg Syrian, Russian Campbell's dwarf, Winter white dwarf or roborovski dwarf).
There is lots like, Syrian, Chinese dwarf hamster, Campbells dwarf hamster, Robo dwarf hamster, Russian hamster. My favorite, is the blueberry campbells dwarf hamster and the Syrian hamster. They are the sweetest and easy to hold. NOT THE ROBO"S!!!
There is a breed of hamster called the long-haired Syrian hamster, not classified as a dwarf. These hamsters have longer fur compared to the short-haired Syrians. The dwarf hamster species, which includes the Campbell's, Winter White, Roborovski, and Chinese hamsters, typically have shorter fur.
A long haired hamster, also known as a syrian hamster, can grow up to 5-6 inches. Even though they have longer and messier coats types than a short haired hamster, a long haired hamster does not grow bigger in size than a short haired. Long haired hamsters reach their full size a within a year after birth.
Immediately.
Hamsters usually run on their wheel a lot. As long as your hamster is eating and drinking i think it ok.
Long Periods

It is generally recommended to wait about 30 minutes to 1 hour after eating before drinking water to allow for proper digestion.
