My Puppy Copper, had Parvo his symptoms were Vomiting,Diarrea, wouldn't eat, loss of energy and weight loss. but if you are reading this and your thinking OMG my puppy is going to die chill out that's exactly what I thought but it all depends on the dogs age and weight and how long you wait before they get treated. My puppy was 8 months old and caught the Virus by being biten by another dog at the local dog park we did not know that he wasn't vacinated as we were told he was. but anyways Copper had Parvo for 5 days before we got him on the IV at the vet and he had dropped from 53 pounds to 38 in 5 days. we were told by the vet that he would not make it and that we should put him to sleep but I wasn't going to do that because every dog deserves a chance to fight for their lives and that's exactly what he did he was on the IV at the Vet for 3 days and on the fourth day we brought him home now he has been better for about a month and has made a full recovery he has gained back all his weight and is back to his old "Crazy" self :) !!! when Copper had Parvo Virus I stayed up every night to watch him because it is true they could die anytime, Copper almost did I went to use the bathroom and when I came back found him asleep in his water dish he was not breathing so I blew air back into his lungs and he came back I could'NT let him die and I know that's probably how you are feeling right now just give your puupy lots of love and attention keep them warm let them know no matter what happens your there for them!

When my puppy had it she had sever dehydration (pull their skin and if it doesn't go back but instead "sticks", then the dog is dehydrated), diarrea that was pinkish in colour and smelled really bad (probably due to the presence of blood, the parvo virus can really harm their digestive tract). If you think that your puppy has parvo you should take it to the vet because that disease can kill in a couple of days. The more urgent problem is the dehydration.
