Bees and wasps can not fly in temperatures lower than 55°F. Once the temperature begins to drop, they must take shelter in their hive to keep their bodies warm or they will die.
If it stays within its nest it won't have a problem with low temperatures.
the pollen they collect from the plants
Normally a honey bee returns to its hive each night. In anything other than warm Summer temperatures it would be unlikely for an individual bee to survive until morning if it were outside overnight. However, bees do survive quite well away from a hive when they are in a swarm that is looking for a new place to set up home. The swarm generates its own heat and this ensures that the bees are able to survive even if the temperature drops a bit or it rains. But even swarms try to pick a good warm day to make their move.
No, a bee cannot survive in space. It will immediately freeze and explode due to the pressure difference in zero gravity. Depending on what type of bee it is; ex; Bumblebee or Honeybee, it definitely will not live long enough in space. And you won't even be able to hear it buzzing either! The vacuum of Space will immediately kill it before it has a chance to fly around. What a good way to kill annoying insects!
If a bee's body temperature drops too low it dies. So, if a bee has been frozen it will be dead.
Not even 1 unless it's a giant bee

A honey bee cannot survive on its own, only as part of a colony.
They pretty much just huddle together flexing their muscles for warmth in a big clump in the middle of their hive, and they do very little else until the weather warms up. (The queen bee gets the middle spot where temperature reaches up 80 degree).Hope this helps,-Drew
Live dormant in their nest.
the bumble bee or the carpenter bee are both 1 inch long
Much like any other agriculture animal provide a suitable enclosed hive body (boxes). Feeding with sugar syrup and pollen substitute. Bee survive in the center dead trees as long as they have stored enough honey. Workers do not poop during very cold weather. When the daytime temperature gets over 50, each bee leaves the hive, poops, and goes back inside.
Bees don't normally get lost.
