If you mean how long it takes before the taste of the fish vanishes so you can taste the chocolate better, then I just suggest you drink a glass of milk or water after the fish dinner and just move to the chocolate.
I do not think there is any religion, what would prevent eating fish and dairy at the same setting.
I also know a few receipts where the fish is cooked with chocolate. You should try that, it has a little chili in it too.
But if this fish and chocolate thing is some kind of diet to loose weight, then I suggest you skip the sugars entirely. XD
