Because he worked to save animals and do what he loved
dead and buried, an over exited extrovert who didn't take quite enough precautions The above is just one opinion. Many people respected Steve Irwin. He was a "genuine Australian" who was not afraid to show his passion and enthusiasm for the animals he sought to protect. he was also a positive role model for children and young adults.
Steve Irwin was a scientist and did many things but mostly involving animals like he found anew species of turtles and named them after him self. he was nominated for the best Australian of the year awarded. sadly he died in 2006 he was killed by a sting ray the barbs of the sting ray is covered in ooze that if not treated immediately you can die in Steve Irwin case it was death that won this round.
Steve Irwin did many things involving animals, but, mostly crocs! He was known as the Crocidile Hunter on Discovery. He was on his daughter Bindi's show titled: Bindi the Jungle Girl. He worked with many animals whether they were marine life or land animals. I think that he liked to work with reptiles the most even though he loves all animals! Rest in Peace, Steve. You will never be forgotten. Born: February 22nd, 1962 Death: September 4th, 2006
