Roald Dahl, the famous British author of books as 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' and 'Matilda', among several others novels and plays, both for children and for adults, was a pet-lover. It's reported that he had several of them, including a goat, a tortoise and, of course, dogs. He had three dogs called Eva, Jelly and Chopper.
