It depends on how big the horse is or how wide its strides are.
Pony= 1 step (approx)
Large horse= 2/3 steps (approx)
If you have riding lessons next time you ride see how many steps your riding instructor does for each horse or at least a horse approxmately the size of your horse. If your instructor (or someone good with horses) knows your horse well, try ask them.
Slow down if you and your horse/pony get to close to the person in front. Always, always, always change direction if your horse/pony is falling asleep. Don't jump until your confident trotting over poles. Only jump if your instructor asks you to, or if your supervised.
At the time of the cartoon this was the response to "pole splitting". They are responding to the cage poles between them.
According to the latest estimates there are approximately 37 trillion cells in a human body. Considering the mass of a gorilla is roughly twice that of a human, 60-70 trillion cells is a fair guess.
Assuming you have already lunged your horse without poles and they are comfortable with it, you simply add the poles on the ground and lunge as you normally would. The horse will naturally try to avoid stepping on the poles. You can vary the distance between the poles to get your horse to lengthen or shorten his or her strides. Start easy and at a walk until the horse gets the hang of it. This may take many days. Very gradually work up to a trot or canter and more difficult distances and patterns. Lunging is a real workout for the horse so don't try to do too much too quickly.
What do you mean, "Where did poles live?" That doesn't make any sense!

Depending on the size of the horse, about 4.5-5 feet. If measuring with your feet, that's about 5 heel-to-toe steps, or a longish stride. Then adjust for the horse as necessary.

Lines running between two poles are called Semicircles
was carved into animal and human figures on tall fire poles. These poles were very colorful and were a symbol of a family's power and rank
Human beings have adapted to the extreme conditions of the poles by wearing appropriate clothing like insulated layers and using specialized gear such as snowshoes and skis for mobility. They have also built insulated shelters and use heating sources to stay warm. Additionally, humans have developed specific skills for survival in polar regions, such as ice fishing and hunting techniques.
The lines joining the two poles are longitudes.
it is greater at poles than equator
