A litter size does not depend on what litter a cat has. It decided on how many male cats that have bred with the female cat. A cat can have up to 8 kittens or a litter of one.

It's my cats first litter how many kittens can i expect?

It is impossible to know how many kittens a cat will have without a vet exam. How old is the cat? Is it indoor or outdoor only? I have seen a 6 month old kitten give birth to a single kitten and abandon it. I have seen a 1 year old cat give birth to 4 kittens. Some have as many as 11 kittens. Also some breeds have larger or smaller litters. There is a lot to consider. All this is true, but on average a cat will have 1-8 kittens in a litter.

How many kittens are in a litter?

The number of kittens in a litter varies from cat to cat and even from litter to litter. It is most common for cats to have three to six kittens per litter.

A cat with two kittens are sleeping or A cat with two kittens is sleeping.?

'with two kittens' describe the cat. So, you should write 'is sleeping'. But if you mean that all three of them are sleeping, write 'A cat and his two kittens are sleeping'.

How many kittens can 1 female have?

a cat will have around 5 or 6 kittens in a litter most of the time. my cat has 3 kittens right now. the world record of most kittens in a litter is 12 but that is very unlikely. Some cats like my friends have up to 9 or 10 Although cats usally have up to 5 or 6 kittens at a time they can keep having more litters like my old cat is dead now but she had 6 litters of 6 kittens thats 36 in her lifetime.

Is is possible for a female cat to mate then conceive then be spayed and then give birth to her kittens?

No, it is not possible for a spayed cat to have kittens. The spaying procedure removes the cat's entire reproductive system, which includes any unborn kittens if any are present. If the cat is far into her pregnancy, it may be safer (unless a vet says otherwise) to let the kittens be born and then spay the mother as soon as the kittens are weaned. A cat early in pregnancy can be spayed safely.

Will kittens inside a cat live or die if the vet fixes the cat?

It depends on what stage in her pregnancy is she being spayed? If your Veterinarian is spaying her in the beginning stages of her pregnancy, the kittens will not live. If he is doing this in the late stages of pregnancy, which I don't think most Vets would do unless it is an emergency situation for the Mother cat, then the kittens might live. It is best if you have to spay your cat while she is pregnant, to do it in the early stages and that is probably what your Vet is doing as it is much easier on the Momma cat.

What time after pregnancy can you spay a female cat?

wait until after their kittens are weaned for a while then spay.

Can pregnancy occur when a cat is in heat but unwilling?

Pregnancy can only occur if the cat courted with a male.. It could occur even if the cat was unwilling, but I'm pretty sure if you keep your cat indoors, and watch it when you let it outside, will it avoid pregnancy. Unless you do want kittens.

Is it ok that your cat had two kittens or should you be expecting more?

It is perfectly normal for a cat to have only two kittens. Sometimes a cat will have only one kitten. Usually a cat will have fewer kittens in her first litter, and when she is older she will have a larger litter.
