If your coin is missing its copper plating it may or may not be an error coin. If it was dipped in acid, it's worth the same amount as any other normal penny - one cent. If it was never plated at the mint, it's an error worth possibly as much as $80-100, but you'd need to have it examined in person by an expert to be sure.
