It all depends on the dog and the breeder. I would do some really good research before you decide to get an Alaskan Malamute and do some research on the breeder you would like to get the pup from. If you can contact an Alaskan Malumute Rescue instead I would. There are so many dogs and puppys out there that need people who will care for them. I have had Malamutes all my life and there wonderful dogs but they need a lot of care and attention. They are diffcult to train and can be very stubborn but that comes with the breed.
