I don't know how much money it is, but, I do know that people spend unesesary money on pet clothes, toys, and even food. Even though pet clothes are cute it isn't enjoyable for the pet and they would much rather not have any clothes. My family gets tons of toys for my dog when she doesn't even play with them, it is much better to get the pet a toy that she/he is more attached to. Lastly, food is the biggest money waster of all. My dog has been eating the same kibble for more than seven years and the vet says she is as healthy as a new-born puppy. Gormet dog foods are unesesary and most of the time create health problems.
