You don't need much land at all to support one bee hive. An average-sized backyard will easily support two hives. The bees will wander for acres and acres, no matter how much land you have.

Do bee's pee?

No they do not Insects that live on land usually need to save or conserve water in their bodies to prevent themselves from drying out. They cannot afford to lose much water when they eliminate wastes from their bodies and thus do not urinate. They eliminate a waste called uric acid that doesn't contain much water. Insects that live in water do not have a water conservation problem. They are surrounded by water and can afford to pass a lot of water through their systems to prevent their bodies from getting too soggy. They eliminate waste as ammonia flushed out with water. What time of day do bees come out?

Bees are active from a little after dawn to just before dusk provided the air temperature is high enough (they need it to be at least 13-15 degrees celcius before they venture too far from the hive). Their peak of activity is usually early morning and late afternoon when temperatures are warm but not too hot. At midday bumblebees in particular will seek the shade of the hive as they are covered in hair and can overheat in the peak daytime temperatures. At high temperatures they will also tend to be foraging for water, which they use to cool the hive, rather than nectar.

How do I get rid of a bees nest in my porch ceiling HELP?

You need to be sure of what it is before you decide upon removal tactics. Is it a bee hive that is actually in the ceiling or wall, or is it a wasp or hornet nest that is visible and stuck to the ceiling or wall? If it is a bee hive there will be honeycomb involved and that will all need to be removed from the ceiling. Call a professional to smoke out the bees, open up the ceiling, remove the hive, and then seal the hole. If it is just the papery nest of a wasp or a hornet or the mud nest of a mud dauber, those are easy, get some wasp and hornet freeze. soak the nest and let it soak about 24 hours, then knock the nest down. Make sure before you knock it down you don't notice any activity.
