If you buy from a small breeder, or just a pet owner that has baby (or adult guinea pigs they don't want anymore) guinea pigs, you can get them for $10, but if you buy from a pet store they are $40-$60. And that is just for the animal, then you have to buy all the supplies.
The cost of a baby guinea pig can vary depending on factors such as breed and where you purchase them from. On average, baby guinea pigs can cost anywhere from $20 to $40. It's important to consider ongoing expenses such as food, bedding, and veterinary care before getting a guinea pig.
Overall guinea pig supplies cost about £60-£80 ($100 - $130) if you are starting from scratch, but a top up on supplies will cost about £5-£7 ($10 or so).
it matters on what it is but usually around 4-7 dollars.

It depends on the size of the cage. Some cages are cheaper when they come in a guinea pig care supplies kit.My cage for my guinea pig was $50.But, then again,it was originally meant for two guinea pigs.
If you want 1 guinea pig, probably about $110 - $130 to start. For 2, about $175 - $200 to start. Prices all depend on where you purchase your pet and supplies. Keep in mind that you will have to replenish your supplies.

Yes, in pre-decimal British money, a guinea was a pound and a shilling (or 21 shillings). Today that would be equivalent to £1.05
It cost about $50.00 a month to afford changing supplies and hay, and of course a cave and food. I have a male Guinea Pig and i live in NY and i know all about this stuff.
