The amount that an individual goat will sell for depends on the animal's age, bloodlines, whether or not it is a registered animal and other similar variables. I have had people give me goats for free. And while I have never bought a "five figure goat" personally, I have seen them. The sales catalogues and goat magazines show some of the records of these high end sales figures for excellent breeding stock. Local (farm animal livestock) auctions frequently publish their weekly sales figures in the agricultural journals and papers.
Goat Aid Oxfam is a project set up to help less well off families in Africa. You pay £25 pounds and then this means a family in Africa receive a goat this goat will produce milk, butter and milk. These things to us may seem like not very much but to a poor family in Africa this is a lot they may also have kids and then they can sell some of the kids and this means they have a small income helping support the family.
A woman may sell her eggs for money. She may also sell them so she can help someone have a child. A woman will often get anywhere from $2,000 to $10,000 per egg.
Around £5 - £25, be decent with price or they will never sell.
It depends on the area in which you live, but in upstate NY, pygmy goats generally sell for $50-100. Does (girls) usually sell for more than young bucks (boys), but a buck that has proven himself to be a good breeder can sell for more.
Too much all puppies at the Market of Marion are puppy mill puppies, no reputable breeder would sell there, and the horror stories from buyers are heartbreaking go to a reputable breeder not at a flea market or pet store
Well, depending on what kind of selling you are talking about, (you selling your goat to another person for rehoming, selling goat babies, buying a goat, or selling your goat or your goat's materials for profit), there are many different answers. For rehoming, I would suggest asking around at a county fair, or talking to a local 4H group to see if anyone there is interested. This way, you will find an experienced owner. I do not suggest posting on Craigslist, because you do not know how experienced with goats the people that are buying are. For selling goat babies, the same thing goes. If you are looking into buying a goat, I suggest going on duhgoatman.tripod.com. They seem to have helpful listings by state of local goat farms. Once again, another good idea is checking with your local 4H group to see if anyone has any for sale. For profit selling, personally, I do not have the heart to go and sell my goat for meat. It is easy to get attached to them. But, if you wish to sell the things your goat provides, here are some ways. If you wish to sell fiber, I suggest making it into yarn first. If not that, you can check with a local store that sells yarn to see if might be interested. As far as milk goes, you can make that into anything you want (soap, cheese, etc.) and sell it, or you can sell it as just plain goat milk. But you NEED to pasturize it first. I do not have much experience with goat milk, but I suggest, for more advice, go to Fias Co Farms' website. There is much good advice there. For selling milk in your local area, you can ask a local convenient store that sells local, farm fresh products. Hope this helps!
