Please DO NOT attempt to clip a hamster's teeth yourself.
A lot of people bring their hamster to the vet to have their teeth clipped and the majority of the time, the teeth do not need clipping. Hamsters have longer teeth than owners expect, because they are rodents.
Even a vet would not attempt to clip the teeth if they do not need clipping, because each time they are clipped there is a risk of fracturing the teeth right down into the skull, which means the hamster will no longer eat because they are in great pain, and could lead to infection.
It is likely that if you took your hamster to the vet to get their teeth checked, and they did not need clipping, the vet wouldn't charge you for their time.
If your hamsters teeth are too long buy them something hard to bite from the pet shop example wood.
