Why do you live on land? Fish don't have lungs they have gills, when moving water is going through them the gills take the oxygen from the water and the fish breaths, no water = no oxygen = dead fish.
Build up the sides of your pond to make it more difficult for the foxes to get to your Koi fish. There is also a product called the Scarecrow. It is a motion activated sprinkler system. When the fox comes close to the pond, the sprinkler will turn on and wet the fox, scaring it away.

Pleco's are tropical fish, so if your pond has a sub-tropical temperature, the pleco will not survive in the pond for very long.
They are tropical fish. There are also wild guppies. If you have a stream or something running into your pond that is probably why. Or someone could have put them there and then they reproduced.
