Do not worry about your scent she will not care. But I do suggest not wearing any lotion or perfume on your hands or wrists when handling the kits. The kits should be warm and very plump looking, like a frog's belly. Place the kits back in the nesting box with the fur on top and offer the mom a treat for letting you handle the kits.
