Even though trujillo grandmother was haitian and his uncle he let power influence him and some dominicans complain that they were too many haitians ,but understand that when trujillo started dictating it was after the independent from haitians so dominican didn't really want to share the same land because they were free from haitians that was the reason why they didn't want haitians there but trujillo took it to another level
