No it should not die, chickens get wet in the rain. They get wet from splashing through the water dish and they get very wet when feeding outside after a rain.
I have one... What animal never gets wet when it rains? A RAINdeer. Lol.. :)
The process time for decomposing of a chicken carcass is currently unknown. The process will be faster during warmer temperatures and in wet soil.
It will clump together, then you can scoop it out like you normally would.
If a chick gets wet, gently dry it with a towel and ensure it is kept warm in a dry environment. Chicks can easily get chilled if they are wet, so it is important to monitor their body temperature and provide a heat source if needed. Make sure the chick is able to dry completely before returning it to its brooder or enclosure.
If a hamster gets wet, it can lead to hypothermia as their fur is their main protection from the cold. Wet fur can also become matted and cause skin issues. It's important to keep hamsters dry, especially since they are not able to regulate their body temperature like humans.
Like people, kangaroos can get sick if they get wet and cold, but it not always the case.
Chickens do stand out in the rain even when they have a dry coop a few feet away. Occasionally they will catch a chill and get sick just like people but for the most part, they just shake off and go about their business.
