It's not really bad for most levels of showing, but in the AA shows you are not allowed to have rubber bands anywhere.
Horse tails are an item used in the game Mini Ninjas. They can be found in chapter 5 titled "Distress Signals".
Not all roping horses have braided tails. There are many events where a rider may braid their horses tail because it helps keep it out of the way.
It all depends on the breed and individual horse. We have horses with tails that reach the ground, we have other horses of the same breed with short little tails. It all depends.
A small hardy horse breed is the Shetland pony. Shetland ponies are known for their strength and resilience despite their small stature, making them well-suited for various tasks such as pulling carts or riding. They are also known for their thick manes and tails and friendly temperament.
Cat Tails are listed as non toxic /poisonous to horses, however I would not allow them to eat the plants as it could cause digestive upset and possibly colic. If you wish to feed them to your horse I recommend contacting an equine veterinarian and seeking a professional opinion.
Buy a book and it will tell you. Most good books will have how to braid their manes and tails they should also have pictures to guide you.

Being able to groom a horse completely and thoroughly allows you to 'market' your skills to other horse people who cannot or will not groom their own horses thus allowing you to charge them money for your services. being able to braid or band manes and tails and clip a horse can earn you even more money than just being able to do a thorough show grooming.
A good hair do would be like a pony tail or pig tails or a simple braid.

Twisters are things you use to pull your hair back with.I have heard many people call them scrunchies, pony tails, pony tail holders, rubber bands, and hair ties there true name is twisters.
First get two pony-tail holders, or gum bands (also called 'rubber bands' in some areas). Second, you'll need a brush and comb. A spray bottle of cool water can help tame fly-away hairs. So, brush out your hair completely. Next, part your hair down the middle, so both sides of your head have two equal parts. You may need a second person to check that your part is straight all the way from your forehead to the nape of your neck. Next, hold one section of hair tightly above your ear (placement can vary; high or low...further back or right above the ear). Take a ponytail holder or gum band and wrap one as close to your head as you can. Begin to wrap the holder round and round the hair. Leave the holder slightly loose in case you need to adjust the placement. Do the other side now. Check in a mirror that both sides look even and about the same placement.Don't get frustrated if your first attempts look bad. Making pig tails and having a straight part takes practice. What else can you do with pig tails? You can braid pig tails. You can fasten them higher on the sides of your head, braid each one, then wrap the braids around your head. Experiment with different styles. For long hair - You can make braids, wrap them around the lower part of your head, cross at the middle, and take them both to above your forehead...pin in place. This is a German braid hair style. For long hair - Make both pig tails, then attach a thin ribbon or ribbons on the underside. Now, braid each pig tail, with the ribbons appearing in your braid.
