yes it is important to warm up your horse before working with them as it loosings them up afterm standing around all day. all the stiffness in there joints are lossend off as well. it is like humans we dont just lie on a couch all day them decide to run in race. we have to stretch and warm up before we do it so as not pull a muscle. it is the same with the horse

It really depends on the type; age; fitness level and health of the horse but for my two horses I feed them one bale (small square) a day in the warm weather.
