well my hamster use to do them all the time we took her to the vet and they checked her out :/ they said it was just for fun since she had no wheel in her cage but if a hamster is always doing this type of thing it could be a disorder im only in 6th grade but im pretty smart my IQ is 200% hope this helped

∙ 11y agoNo. It is not. Usually when they are doing backflips on their own constantly it means that they have a genetic disease. The disease is caused by inbreeding. I'm sorry for your hamster.
