Yes, it is perfectly safe. Many people will tell you that pork/ham (including bacon) should not be fed to cats, because they cannot digest it properly. But I asked my vet about it when I brought my cats in today, and she said it's a total myth that pork/ham is unhealthy for cats. There is no truth to it whatsoever.
It is not recommended that you give your cat Phenergan. If your cat is sick, it is better for her to get it out of her system.
I read in the paper that you should not give cats ham, but the article didn't explain why not (just gave a list of foods that they said should be off-limits) and I have to say that my two cats love ham and have never had any ill effects from it. Years ago my family had a cat who loved ham so much that he would come running when he heard us open the drawer that contained the electric knife with which we sliced the ham! I would say that with all human food, it's best not to give too much at one time, but I have never seen a bad reaction by my cats to ham.
Pigs give us ham, pork, bacon, sausage, hot dogs, etc. Leather (pigskin)
Never, ever give a cat a human's medicine. Giving your cat a human's ambien pill could kill the cat. Cats are much smaller than humans and would need a much smaller dose of any medication, and you can't just guess the amount because that can still kill your cat. Ask a veterinarian.
Unless your cat is overweight, it is Ok to feed it whenever it is hungry. But when a cat is about to give birth it meows loud. That does not necessarily mean it is hungry. Consult a vet for additional details.
Yes, you can feed them most meats as long as its cooked. Just don't feed them cat meat.
mostly you could just give him/her ham i gave my cat ham and he eats it
Yes it is.
NO. Never give human medication to a cat.
No, you can't give meds prescribed for a dog to a cat.
It's okay in small doses. Whether the cat eats it or not is another question.
Yes it is ok. I do it.
Ham and Cat is a remake of the tv show on nickelodeon called Sam and Cat. But, nick.com says its not a real show, and you'll never see it. Sorry Sam and Cat fans. :(
They can. Ham is not a natural part of a cat's diet. It is a different kind of meat, and should be fed very sparingly.
Definately. When our cat has kittens we generally try to give them away at around 8 weeks.
I want to eat ham.
Give it commercialy sold food for that species, do not give it stuff like ham.
