No your dog will probaly get sick if you feed it that much a day. I would stick with haveing 2 dog meals a day with maybe a bone for the day. But if your dog is still a young puppy then you have to get special feeeding form the vet and she/he will tell you how much to feed it. But i wouldn't give your dog a boiled chicken and a brown rice low fat organic dry dog food every day twice a day. your dog would probly be sick all over.

Whether the food is wet or dry, it provides the same nutrients. As long as the food is high quality it will not make a difference. However, dry food does a much better job at keeping a dogs teeth clean so it is recommended by most veterinarians. But wet food makes a wonderful treat.Another AnswerIt may depend on the dog. Larger breeds who are prone to bloat may benefit from being fed wet food, or water added to the dry food. This also adds some moisture to the dog's diet. Many brands of dry food often have a higher content of grain, such as corn or rice, which some dogs have trouble in digesting. Such ingredients are used as they are cheaper than meat, and they also help hold the kibble pieces together. Wet food usually does not need "binding" like this, so its often easier to find wet food without the high percentage of "fillers". It depends on the individual dog, and what suits it best. Also, the notion that dry food cleans a dog's teeth has not yet been proven. Kibble is hard and brittle, so it shatters at the tips of the teeth - providing little or no cleaning friction for the most part. Some believe that crumbs from dry food stick between a dog's teeth, which can negatively impact the dog's dental health.

if they are eating the dry food on their own that is great. just make sure that they continue to nurse from the mother for at least a few more weeks, but it is ok to continue to introduce hard foods into their diet. try mixing some hot water with the kibble to soften it up for them since their teeth are just developing.
