As shown on shows such as Survivorman, the answer is a qualified yes.

Wild game, including rabbits, need to be thoroughly skinned and cooked to remove potential pathogens.

And be sure to either cook and consume the vital organs, or add other protein sources to your diet, since rabbit muscle is practically fat-free and can lead to a form of protein poisoning colloquially known as 'rabbit starvation' (see the link below).

To be completely honest, there are two sides to this question

1. Why would you even consider eating a wild raccoon

2. It depends if you clean it out of all the parasites because raccoons carry various fatal diseases including rabies you would also have to cook it

Unless you do what i wrote in number 2 than no, no it is not safe to eat wild raccoons

My personal opinion is no. Raccoons can carry a variety of diseases and parasites that could be transmitted during the skinning and preparation process.

actually it is safe they do eat rabbit in MANY places but if it was your pet i find that kinda mean but it is safe!
