You're really asking this?! Really?
What do you think? Think about a sheep's natural diet. This shouldn't be hard to figure out.
A. I asked the above question and since it went unanswered here except for the sarcastic reply, I contacted a professor in the Animal Science Department at our state university. His reply to me was:
"Interesting question but thanks to the ruminal microbes the theobromine
may not reach the abomasum but I could not promise that is true.
However, one of the reasons believed why the ruminant animal developed a four compartmental stomach was so that the first compartment, the rumen could house
microbes that could detoxify toxic substances. Theobromine is the toxic
component of chocolate for dogs. Don't know if that helped, but I tried."
I had a good reason to ask the question in the first place. If you know anything at all about sheep you know they will eat just about anything you put in front of them.
I like this question. I've raised sheep for the last 6 years and I know what you mean, they are so curious about everything. I don't think that chocolate would be good for them. Dogs as you mentioned can die from eating to much chocolate. But Thoebromine in large doses can make any animal sick, even us. I'd say, but dont quote me on this, chocolate wouldn't hurt them if it was a small amount but might as well keep it away from them just in case.
No, you should not feed a pet lizard chocolate granola bars. Chocolate is toxic to most reptiles, including lizards, and can cause serious health issues or even be fatal. Stick to a diet of live insects and leafy greens that are safe and nutritious for your pet lizard.
Do not feed your dog chocolate, grapes, raisins, onions, garlic, alcohol, caffeine, xylitol, and avocados as these foods can be toxic to dogs and cause serious health issues. It is best to stick to dog-safe foods and treats recommended by your veterinarian.
There are several problems that are faced when you are rearing sheep. One of those is keeping the sheep safe, they must be kept safe from predators. Housing the sheep and keeping them healthy are other problems that those raising sheep must face.
A sheep can eat horses feed on a small scale. If it is all the sheep has to it, it is fine. However, they should not eat horse feed on a regular basis.
To make chocolate frogs
yes as long as it isn't mouldy or had any contact with meat
FSA - feed, sell or agist. Feed their sheep supplementary feed like grain. Sell their sheep to the abattoir or reduce their numbers. Agist their sheep in an area not in drought.
If you feed sheep before you kill them, you will have more meat and fat on the sheep's skin to eat! Yum!
In Minecraft, yes, you can feed sheep. Sheep can be fed wheat. When you feed a sheep some wheat, it becomes happy with you and has love heats floating around its head for a while. If you feed wheat to two sheep and bring them together, they will kiss for a few seconds, then a baby sheep will appear. This is breeding. Alternatively, if you hold wheat in your hand without feeding it to a sheep, the sheep will follow you. This is useful for herding sheep into a fenced farm. See the link in the related links below for more information.
Don't feed your Labrador chocolate! :O

Sheep.
No, sheep should not eat Oreos or any other processed human foods. Oreos contain sugar, chocolate, and other ingredients that can be harmful to sheep's digestive systems. Feeding sheep inappropriate foods can lead to health issues such as bloating or digestive upset. It's best to stick to their regular diet of grass, hay, and specially formulated sheep feed.
Pita bread would be OK for a gerbil. As long as it is unsweetened and unsalted.
