This question is purely a matter of opinion that will differ between people who have pets and people who don't. I am sure, as most people own a pet, whether a dog, horse, snake, or fish; a majority will be of the opinion that it is not wrong, as long as you care for your pet carefully and correctly. Before you get a pet, consider carefully if you can giv it a good home e.g. if you are getting a cat, do you live near a busy road, can you afford vets bills/food and if you rent; will your landlord allow it etc etc..... If possible read up on the pet you want in great detail, and speak to somebody who has experience with this animal e.g. a horse rider etc if you intend to buy a pony. If you have any doubts about the pet you are getting, wait and see. It is better to allow your potential pet to stay where it will be well cared for e.g. with its current owner, until the right owner is found. Animals are very expensive and high maintenance to keep. For instance, can you afford insurance, food, bedding, vets, ointments. If you go on holiday a lot, it can be unsetlling for the pet moving from place to place. e.g. your home to a kennel. Therefore it would be selfish to leave the pet lonely and in unfamiliar territory. Also, dont get a pet if you work long hours and have to leave it in the care/hand of others. Are you also of a patient nature and happy to take on a responsibilty that is like a child, it will demand time, attention and consideration. REMEMBER:ANIMALS CANT SPEAK TO TELL YOU THEY ARE UPSET, ANGRY, HUNGRY, UNHAPPY. So you have to be able to give your time when necessary. They are not just for 5 minutes, some animals can live 2 years like Hamsters, dogs live 10-15 years, whilst some tortoises can live over 100 years. Please consider this carefully, if it is right for you, good luck and i hope you find the right companion for you!!!
Moose are very important to wildlife because they are a part of history. They bring people together, whether keeping a moose as a pet, or hunting a moose.
In general, it is not legal to keep a rainbow as it is a natural phenomenon and cannot be owned or captured. However, if you are referring to keeping a rainbow fish as a pet, it may depend on the specific species and local regulations. It is important to research and comply with laws regarding wildlife before keeping any animal as a pet.
Keeping a lynx as a pet is not recommended or legal in most places. Lynxes are wild animals that require specialized care, a large enclosure, and a proper diet that can be difficult to provide in a home setting. It is best to admire lynxes from a distance in their natural habitat.
Yes, you can have a pet turtle in Tasmania, but you'll need to comply with specific regulations. Most turtles are protected under Tasmania's Nature Conservation Act 2002, so you may need a permit to keep one as a pet. Make sure to check with local authorities for the most up-to-date information on keeping turtles as pets in Tasmania.
Yes, raccoons are known to be scavengers and opportunistic feeders, so they may try to eat pet birds if given the opportunity. It's important to take precautions to protect pet birds from potential predators like raccoons by securing their enclosures and keeping them indoors when possible.
I personally would not recommend it. If you have been banned from owning a pet then you have done something very wrong. You are not allowed to have another pet in your home. Obey this or you will be in big trouble.
love!!

Keeping a snake for a pet is a way for one to learn more about them as a species, and also learn that there is a lot of care involved with keeping a snake as a pet. Snakes have special needs that are different from more traditional pets.
That depends on what's wrong with it.
It's not wrong to not vaccinate a pet if the pet is an indoor pet only; that way your animal is not subjected to other animals or the possible infections of other animals. All animals need to see a vet at least once in their life, it would be better to have your pet see a vet on a regular basis just to make sure there is nothing wrong.
