It is very close to the movie, I enjoyed the book although it could be called tragic I thought it could be called tragic, i thought it was a heart warming story that any horse lover would enjoy. If you enjoyed that book I recommended Black Beauty. that is also an autobiography of a horse, I hope you decide to read the book and enjoy it. i know i did.
