Unborn kittens can start moving within a few weeks after conception, but you may not be able to see or feel the movement until they are older, at around 5 to 6 weeks gestation. Since kittens are born after 9 weeks, this means that from the time you detect movement until they are born is about 3 to 4 weeks.
Usually you can start to see the kittens moving inside the womb about 1-2 weeks BEFORE the birth of the kittens. Your cat will become affctionate, tired, restless, she will look for a place that is quiet and out of the way and will not want to eat alot of food. Cats can be pregnant from 58-71 days, during that time your cat should have given birth to the kittens if she hasn't then you should seek expert advice by going to a nearby Vetenarian, So they can help with the birthing process.
Not necessarily. The movement of the kittens within a pregnant cat's tummy can vary in intensity and location. Feeling one movement at a time doesn't necessarily mean she only has one kitten; she could have multiple kittens that move independently.
No, felt is composed of shafts with grooves along them these groves catch and tangle creating felt, cat tails fluff doesn't have these shafts, but for the record actual cat's tail fur will felt. Hope this helps Andie- AmericanFeltandcraft.com
Felt can be made from nearly any animal since it is a nonwoven fabric made from hair fibers, but most often it is made from sheeps wool, and more recently alpaca. The sheep aren't killed in the process just given a "haircut" and sent on their way. The wool is washed, carded and felted. There are also synthetic felts which are made from plastics and a new bamboo felt made from a combination of bamboo and wool. Hope this helps Andie- American Felt and Craft

If the cats were close before the kittens were born, he may be jealous of the kittens because they are getting all the mother's attention. Or perhaps she felt that he threatened the kittens in some way and is acting defensive towards him.
She felt that her kittens would be safer there.

She probably felt that they were not safe where they were previously. Mothers are usually protective of their young. She may have noticed that you found out where her kittens were, and she thought you could be a threat so she moved them.
