Since amphibians live outside of water as well, any adaptation that might make them more independant of water than fish for instance. The eggs of some species might have a outer shell which would keep it from loosing water, they might have reproductive strategies which are more water-independant, they might have more developed lungs or breathing systems (cutaneous) than animals that spend more time in the warter etc.
