Please go to the vet's with your hamster and get her checked out.
Check your hamsters food. It doesn't matter where you get the food, how you get the food your food could have weevils. The weevils go inside the cage when you put food in there and cause irritation. Put your hamster food in the freezer to prevent this. OR, It probably has mites. My hamster had mites, and she was losing fur on her back. We were wondering if we should take it to a vet, but she ended up healing by herself and is now perfectly fine. I'm not saying this is what you should do, because your hamster might not heal by itself; she might get worse. If she loses more hair, and still doesn't seem to be getting any better, I'd suggest bringing it to a vet. I hope your hamster gets better soon!
If a hamster is bald or is losing its fur, it may be rubbing up against something which is causing it to lose fur. Your hamster may be old enough to be losing fur. I have a hamster who is nearly 4 and isn't bald, but i also have a hamster who is nearly 2 and is half bald. She has been confirmed for mites and is being treated with antibiotics. If your hamster might have mites, i would suggest going to a vet. If you haven't cleaned out your hamster in a while do that, and it might grow back. I cleaned my hamster out and it grew back for a while, then went again so i changed her cage with a bigger one, but she was still bald. our hamster might even be stressed so place him/her in a quiet place and place a house inside the cage so she/he can retreat there when stressed. Try and calm him/her hold him/her and talk to them so they know you are there. Hope i helped. [: And good Luck.
It's possible, but most likely no. If your other hamster died, then play with it, and keep it happy and not lonely. Or you can clean out the cage, and then buy another hamster for her/him to play with. Then she will be happy, and the other one she would forget about. It's possible, but most likely no. It's best to consult a veterinarian to determine the underlying cause of your hamster's hair loss. In some cases, providing a balanced diet with adequate nutrients may help improve your hamster's health and fur condition, but adding vitamins to the water without professional advice could be harmful.
Well, if it is to the point where the hamster wont eat then you should maybe see if you can schedule a vett appointment to get X-rays. It is best you know why your hamster is like this.
TAKE HER TO THE VET, now
my sisters hamster has like 2 big tumors and they are getting a little bigger and one of them has 2 holes in it. the holes connect under the skin kind of like a tube. its also bleeding and she is losing fur. she has also become more aggressive. we took her to the vet and they couldn't do anything but that was before it got allot worse. what can i do for the hamster?
Its got the mange.
Babies typically stop losing their hair around 6 months of age.
It sounds like your hamster has mange. Get him to a vet ASAP
well my hamster started losing bits of his fur when he was about 2 and he is over 3 years old now. just because its losing fur, doesnt mean it will die soon
If a hamster loses its hair, it usually means it has mites, but it could be something else.
Your hamster may have mites, so you should take them to the vet and have the vet check.
The bleeding you experience during a miscarriage is notyour period. It is bleeding due to losing the baby.
Babies typically start losing their hair around 3 to 6 months of age, which is a normal part of their growth and development.
