The same thing was going on with my 4 month old puppy... We took her to the vet and it was Parvo. Within 7-10 days after coming in contact with Parvo a puppy will become ill. Parvo can be given to a puppy many ways. Even if a puppy has not come in contact with any other dogs. Parvo can be transmitted through human shoes if you walk on ground that has been contaminated. It can also come from birds the tires on your vehicle etc. Parvo lives in many different climates and temperatures and is very serious.
