Animals who generate their own body heat to maintain their body temperature. Birds and mammals are warm blooded.

All mammals (such as dogs and mice) and all birds (such as a robin or finch) are warm blooded. Other creatures such as Reptiles, Fish, Amphibians and Mollusks tend to be cold blooded. There are, however, a few exceptions, such as the Tuna and Mackerel Sharks which exhibit some warm blooded traits.
