If your feeder is such that a large amount of seed is falling to the ground, yes it will attract rodents. You can either switch feeders or get a add on platform that catches the seed and stops it from falling to the ground, allowing the birds to eat it and not be wasted. I have added a link below for this type of product for your bird feeder.
I've done it, but it takes a lot of patience. I've also taken some great up-close photos of them while they were feeding. I even have a photo of them feeding from my hand (the feeder is in my palm). Hang a humming bird feeder low enough so you can watch them at eye level while they feed. Watch them from a distance to see when their busiest feeding time of the day is. You have to stand very, very still, about 2 feet away from the feeder, and try not to even blink while they are feeding. After a day or so, when they are used to seeing you, take the feeder down and place it in your palm, with your arm out stretched. Do this during their busiest feeding time when there will be more of them present. Hold your outstretched arm, with the feeder in the palm of your hand very, very still. You may even have to put something to brace your arm on. The birds should then begging to feed from the feeder, then gradually light on your hand and/or arm.
Hummingbirds feed on feeders or flowers if a flower of feeder does not have a perch then the hummingbird will hover over the flower or feeder during feeding. p.s. humming birds can open there beaks too.
Not really. Most likely when the orioles come the hummingbirds will fly away. However, when the oriole leaves the hummingbirds will return again. If the hummingbirds do not return put up a oriole feeder that should keep it away from the hummingbird feeder.
Suet that I put out for the birds! First, the suet was taken out of the feeder--when I tied it shut, I found it on the ground empty--then, the whole feeder disappeared... This morning I actually SAW the culprit in the tree at the feeder (which I'd left empty) It ran off as soon as I came out of my door--now I want to leave out food specifically for it so that the woodpeckers that frequent the feeder will stil have food!
is whiting a bottom feeder
Nope. This might scare them away if it's too loud. Putting out a bird feeder should attract birds.
There are a few things to make sure to get when getting a feeder for a hummingbird. Make sure the feeder has bright red parts, this will alert them to the feeder, it should be easy to clean and fill, and finally it should have a nectar capacity that matches your volume of feeding.

I have been feeding mine sinking pellets. the dragon goby is a bottom feeder.
You can get different types of bird feeders. I have a wild bird seed feeder and peanut feeders, and they attract the blue tit and finches, but mainly blue tits
they will eat any type of grain, also bread crumbs
No, bird houses are only for birds to nest in. You will need to get a bird feeder to feed the birds with.
The whale shark is a large filter feeding shark.
Not in my experience. I put up a four perch feeder on a tree in myfront yard. A squirrel reached over to feed from it. I chased it away. The birds still came at feeding time to eat. I just wish there was a way to keep the House Sparrows away from it. They are so aggressive when they feed. Attacking each other and the Cardinals that I do attract. I extended the feeder out more to keep the acrobatic squirrel out and taped off three of the perches. This kept the crowding down and the cardinals have more to eat when they come now. Nothing. Anything in a feeder will attract many different birds (and squirrels, mice, rats, ...)
